consoleprint --
print /usr/adm/messages or any file to a serial printer attached to the printer port of a serial console
Syntax
consoleprint [ file ]
Description
consoleprint prints the file /usr/adm/messages to a printer
attached to the printer port of a serial console. If a filename is
specified, it is printed instead. consoleprint is normally run
by a system administrator to get a hardcopy version of the system
console messages.
Limitations
The only terminals currently supported with entries in
/etc/termcap are the Tandy DT-100 and DT-1,
and the Hewlett-Packard HP-92.
Terminal communications parameters (such as baud rate and parity) must
be set up on the terminal by the user.
